PACT seeks companies to support in the field of digital transformation

The DIAGNOSTICs Programme, developed within the scope of the cross-border cooperation project FAROTIC, of which PACT – Alentejo Science and Technology Park is a partner, aims to diagnose companies and business ideas in the regions of Extremadura, Alentejo and Centro de Portugal (EUROACE) in terms of ICT, with the aim of enhancing their competitiveness.
This initiative, which is receiving registrations until April 16th, is aimed at companies and entrepreneurs in the EUROACE region and will allow participants to access a report with the state of the art of their business or idea in relation to ICT and possible solutions to respond to the identified weaknesses.
Currently there are many technologies, such as blockchain, big data, IoT and cybersecurity, that can help improve business activity, namely in data management, product traceability, process control, decision-making and in the field of security and connectivity.
With the information obtained through the diagnostics, carried out by PACT or by one of the eight project partners, the participants will have a basis to start their digitization process.
The diagnostics will also be the gateway to a later phase of the program: a complete cycle of counseling in which the strategy to be followed will be designed, in order to incorporate the advantages that these technologies bring to the idea or business in question.

The FAROTIC project – Network of Lighthouses of entrepreneurship in the new ICT economy is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), through the Interreg V-A España-Portugal (POCTEP) program, and aims to boost the ICT sector in the EUROACE region.
