CCDR Alentejo and PACT kick off the debate and monitoring of the Mobilizing Agendas in Alentejo with a presentation session of 17 agendas and networking moment
PACT (Alentejo Science and Technology Park) and CCDR Alentejo (Alentejo Regional Coordination and Development Commission) organized on April 4 a working session on the Mobilizing Agendas with investments in Alentejo, within the scope of the RRP (Recovery and Resilience Plan), which represents a unique initiative at regional level.
This activity is in line with the responsibility of PACT, as a driving force behind the Alentejo’s ambition, as it leads the Regional Technology Transfer System (SRTT) and integrates 4 of the 32 mobilizing agendas implemented in the region, but also as an aggregating element, with a view to coordinating regional development activities and presenting to the community the impact that PRR investments are having in Alentejo.
The session, which took place at the PACT facilities, between 9:15 am and 1 pm, aimed to take stock of the Mobilizing Agendas. The presentations of the 17 mobilizing agendas, which were in charge of representatives of the respective leading companies, were made in the following order:

This commitment to the region comes from about 110 agenda co-promoters who declared in their application to make investments in the region, within the scope of the RRP.
After the presentations of the mobilizing agendas, there was a brief discussion moderated by Tiago Teotónio Pereira, Executive Member at CCDR Alentejo, with Pedro Dominguinhos, President of the National Monitoring Commission of the PR, and António Oliveira das Neves, consultant for the EREI 2030 of Alentejo.
The seminar “Mobilizing Agendas in Alentejo” was also an occasion to explore synergies between the more than 100 participants (including agenda leaders, agenda co-promoters and representatives of municipalities) due to the moment of networking and coffee break, during which it was also possible to analyze the 32 posters on display that gave an account of the different dimensions of each agenda.
In addition to the speech by Pedro Dominguinhos, President of the National Monitoring Committee of the RRP, who had the opportunity to learn about the main challenges faced by the consortia and show his willingness to work with them in a logic of greater proximity, the closing of the session included an intervention by the Secretary of State for Regional Development, Isabel Ferreira, in video support.
Finally, PACT made it known that it intends to continue monitoring the theme of investments allocated to the RRP. Soumodip Sarkar, Executive President of PACT, revealed that he plans to hold a new event at the end of 2023, with the purpose of taking a new stock of the situation and analyzing the results, together with the entities that at national level oversee the management of these Agendas: IAPMEI and the Ministry of Economy and the Sea.
