PACT IS PRESENT AT THE POCITYF PROJECT MEETING IN THE NETHERLANDS

PACT, as a member of the POCITYF project, was present at the general consortium meeting that took place from 26 to 29 September in ALKMAAR (Netherlands), one of the project’s lighthouse cities, along with Évora.
At the meeting, which promoted learning through the sharing of experiences, the various members discussed the next steps of the project and had the opportunity to see examples of renewable energy solutions already implemented in the partner city of Évora. It is expected that, after being tested and monitored, the solutions applied in lighthouse cities will be replicated with the necessary adaptations for fellow cities: Granada (Spain), Bari (Italy), Celje (Slovenia), Ujpest (Hungary), Ioannina (Greece), Hvidovre (Denmark).
POCITYF is co-funded by the European Commission, under the Horizon 2020 Programme, and aims at a positive energy transition in heritage-rich cities, with the aim of making them safer, greener and more responsive to the contemporary needs of their citizens, business and other organisations.
