PACT receives TEDxÉvora 2026 and puts the Alentejo at the center of the ideas that shape the future

PACT – Alentejo Science and Technology Park will be the stage for TEDxÉvora 2026, one of the most relevant international events for sharing ideas and experiences, which will take place on March 12, 2026, at the PACT Auditorium, in Évora.
PACT receiving this event reinforces its position as a regional hub for science, technology and innovation, underlining Alentejo’s commitment to the promotion of knowledge, entrepreneurship and sustainable development. By hosting TEDxÉvora, PACT asserts itself as a meeting space between critical thinking, creativity and impact, contributing to the projection of the region in the national and international innovation panorama.
Under the theme “Reprogramming the Future”, TEDxÉvora 2026 will focus on the themes of Environment and Climate Change, Security and Defence, Health and Well-Being, and Work and Automation. The event will bring together speakers with transformative visions, challenging the audience to reflect and act on new paradigms of coexistence, science and culture.
The panel of speakers includes Maria Manuel Mota, CEO at the Gulbenkian Institute for Molecular Medicine (GIMM), Andreia Trigo, CEO at Enhanced Fertility, Vítor Ribeirinho, CEO at KPMG Portugal, and Filipa Bessa, investor and university professor, among other speakers who will be announced soon.
For PACT, hosting TEDxÉvora also represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen the connection to the regional community, enhance the visibility of Alentejo on the map of innovation initiatives in Portugal and reinforce the ambition to make the region an increasingly competitive hub in the areas of science and technology.
