PACT hosts television program and reinforces role in innovation in Alentejo

On March 11th, PACT – Alentejo Science and Technology Park received the team from the INTERCIDADES program, from the CONTA LÁ channel, in a visit that highlighted the work developed by the institution in promoting innovation in the region.
More than an interview, this presence represented an opportunity to make known the innovation ecosystem that PACT has been consolidating over the last few years, based on knowledge transfer processes and the articulation between different agents in the territory.
Since its foundation in 2011, PACT has played an active role in connecting academia and the business community, fostering the creation of synergies and contributing to the positioning of Alentejo in the global innovation panorama. This work has made it possible to boost projects, attract investment and create favorable conditions for the sustainable development of the region.
One of the strategic axes of PACT’s performance is the valorization and retention of qualified talent. In this sense, the ecosystem promotes the approximation between students and the labor market, through practical and integrated experiences, facilitating the transition to the professional context and encouraging the establishment of young people in the region.
