2ND EDITION OF THE UNIVERSITY BOOTCAMP IN GREEN HYDROGEN AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED

28/11/2025

On the 27th and 28th of November, in partnership with the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre (IPP)  and the VALORIZA Research Center, and integrated in  the CIEEMAT2025 (IX Ibero-American Congress of Entrepreneurship, Energy, Environment and Technology), PACT promoted the 2nd edition of the Bootcamp “Green Hydrogen: Innovation and Entrepreneurship”.

Aimed at university students and young professionals in the areas of engineering and technology, the training allowed them to deepen their knowledge about the life cycle of Green Hydrogen and to train students in the areas of Chemistry, Physics and Renewable Energy with entrepreneurship and innovation skills applied to the hydrogen sector.

The initiative had the collaboration of several partners of the H2TALENT project, including WinPower, PRF, HyLab, and University of Algarve, who presented their activities in the Green Hydrogen sector, addressing topics such as research and development, green hydrogen production, transport and storage, the main current uses, and national and global trends of this energy source. IPPortalegre was also represented with a professor who shared his experience on topics of innovation, entrepreneurship, and the creation of impact startups

The event also had the support of the Alentejo2030 Regional Program, which shared funding opportunities for qualified entrepreneurship in Alentejo, and BSO Consulting, a company in the PACT ecosystem, which contributed with important insights on funding opportunities.

In addition to the lectures, networking moments, and a technical visit to BioBIP’s facilities to observe equipment in a real environment, this activity gave participants the opportunity to consolidate learning about the hydrogen ecosystem, exploring the role of innovation in promoting a more sustainable future.

This activity is part of the H2tALENT project, a project co-funded by the European Union and supported by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership and its members.
