This is an initiative with aggregating potential and a challenge for agents in the territory, related to the empowerment of people, institutions and the ecosystem of the Funds at the level of the Alentejo region, with the aim of making known the impact of European policy and why good governance is fundamental in the definition of public policies.

This Agreement, which was signed, aims to implement the Cohesion School project, aims to promote a collaborative culture of territory, in a school, associative, recreational and cultural environment, in the light of the ongoing digital, energy and environmental transition.

The Cohesion School represents an integrated vision of the concept “School” in a broad and comprehensive sense of the term, not only as a physical place, but, fundamentally, as a space where young people play an active role in the structured dialogue of formal and informal learning, apprehending the reality experienced with openness to a future without geographical barriers, with equal rights and opportunities.

The protocol now signed for the ‘Cohesion School’ falls within four of the objectives established in the European Youth Strategy 2021/2027, Connect the European Union with Youth, Promote inclusive societies, Foster information and constructive dialogue, Create spaces for participation for all.
