PACT launches Competition for Ideas in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence under the AIRA project

The Alentejo Science and Technology Park (PACT) is promoting an ideas contest dedicated to the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Robotics.
The initiative is aimed at people over 16 years old with skills in computer science, artificial intelligence or robotics. The objective is to challenge participants to present innovative proposals that combine these technological areas in a creative way and with potential for practical application.
Applications will be evaluated by a jury composed of experts from academia and industry, with recognized experience in robotics, AI, product development, innovation and business management. The three best ideas will be distinguished with prizes in voucher format:
- 1st place: 400€
- 2nd place: €250
- 3rd place: €100
With this initiative, PACT aims to stimulate creativity, innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit of the student community, in addition to raising awareness of the importance of the convergence between AI and robotics in the context of digital transformation.

This activity is part of the AIRA project, funded by the European Union through the EIT Deep Tech Talent program, developed in partnership with the University of Ljubljana. The project aims to train 500 trainees in the application of artificial intelligence to robotics.
