PACT promotes collection of school supplies for children supported by ADBES

The school material collection campaign, promoted by PACT, as part of its social responsibility strategy, in partnership with ADBES – Associação Desenvolvimento e Bem Estar Social da Cruz da Picada, ended today with the delivery of the material at the premises of the ADBES Socio-Educational Center for Childhood, where we were received by the Vice-President of the Association, Susana Serranito.
The material collected will now be distributed to the children and families supported by the Association and will also meet the needs of the Center itself, for the activities carried out daily in its facilities.
The main objectives of the ADBES Socio-Educational Center for Childhood are: to respond to the problems of disadvantaged children; to promote school success and the acquisition of information and knowledge; to develop in children the understanding of concepts and relationships, the ability to solve different types of problems, and the ability to communicate, oral and written; and to stimulate self-confidence in children, self-esteem, autonomy and a sense of responsibility.
