PACT receives visit from Secretary of State for Digitalization

On November 19th, PACT – Alentejo Science and Technology Park was very pleased to receive the visit of Bernardo Correia, Secretary of State for Digitalization.
During the meeting, the guest was received by João Assunção, Director of Operations and Board Consultant at PACT, who made known the Park’s mission and the work it has been developing in the region, as a catalyst for the relationship between academia and the business world, through knowledge transfer and digitalization processes and promotion of innovation.
The University of Évora was also represented at the meeting by Paulo Quaresma, Full Professor in the Department of Informatics, and Vítor Nogueira, Pro-Rector for Digital Transformation and Open Science.
The visit also included a visit to the offices of Dectech, KPMG Portugal and CEiiA, companies in the PACT ecosystem, where it was possible to closely observe the ongoing projects and understand the significant contribution that the region represents to the development of the country.
