PACT signs acceptance agreement for Future Lab project under the Alentejo2030 programme

On April 7th, PACT signed the acceptance agreement for the technological infrastructure and equipment associated with the Future Lab project, under the Alentejo 2030 programme, at CCDR Alentejo’s facilities. As part of Industry 4.0, one of PACT’s strategic areas, the Future Lab aims to boost innovation and technology transfer in the Alentejo by creating a space for experimentation equipped with cutting-edge technology.
The project will strengthen the link between academia and companies, supporting the development of new products and processes for strategic sectors – such as Artificial Intelligence, Virtual and Augmented Reality, and Web3 – through R&D+i processes in collaboration with the PACT ecosystem and the SRTT.
At this ceremony, multiple terms of acceptance were signed for projects that will be supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), totalling a global investment of more than 20 million euros to strengthen technology and innovation in the region.
