Objectives:
The AERIS project aims to improve the innovation of companies in the aeronautical sector in the Andalusia-Alentejo area through the development of training activities, exchange of experiences and transfer of knowledge from companies in the aeronautical sector.
Main Actions:
Identification of the R+D needs of the aeronautical sector in the cross-border area;
Improvement and efficient use of infrastructure and services to support R+D and business development;
Knowledge transfer actions in the cross-border area;
Measures to promote innovation in business.
Expected results:
Number of patents, estimated at 15 (to be measured in 2023);
78 companies receiving aid for the introduction of new products and 47 companies that will cooperate with research centres, reaching a total of 125 companies;
Improve cross-border business cooperation in R&D;
Improve the R&D capacity of aeronautical companies and related sectors, with the consequent impact on improving employment and quality of life of workers and inhabitants of the cross-border area;
Increased private and public-private investment in the cross-border area.
