Main objective: To define, in an integrated way, instruments and tools that allow the achievement of work methodologies that raise the qualifications of human resources and increase the production of productive knowledge in the Alentejo region.

The project, made up of several regional actors, aims to strengthen cooperation and networking work, which foster articulation at regional and sub-regional level, and the development of skills adjusted to the role of each entity, with a view to enhancing its contribution to regional development. On the basis of collaborative work, the partners will develop a set of activities that will increase knowledge, lifelong learning, training/qualification and employment and that will be able to influence the definition of public policies, so that populations reach better levels of training/qualification, consequently increasing the quality of their skills. the levels of knowledge, so that they would better adapt to the demand of the business fabric. The specific objectives of this application are:

To contribute to the reduction of the rate of early school leaving;

Contribute to the increase in the percentage of the population, between 30-40 years old, with higher education or equivalent;

Improve the articulation between vocational training needs and responses, as well as enhance non-formal skills;

To increase the regional innovation index, as well as the efficiency of the knowledge/technology transfer system for companies.
