Description

Problem: Europe lacks the talent and skilled workforce needed to leverage new technologies and enable a digital and green transition ushered in by deep tech innovations, which are indispensable to address the most pressing global challenges.

Objective: To close this skills gap, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) is developing deep tech talent across Europe with the EIT’s “Deep Tech Talent” initiative. The “Deep Tech Talent” initiative will train one million people in the fields of deep tech by the end of 2025.

Key activities: The consortium formed by the Alentejo Science and Technology Park and the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Ljubljana will train 500 people in the application of artificial intelligence to robotics through an asynchronous e-learning course, between January and October 2025.

AIRA developed a 30-hour course, which anyone can take at their own pace. It’s free of charge, open to everyone, and comes with a certificate via our Moodle. This training is approved by the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative and certified by PACT and University of Ljubljana.
