Circular Economy under debate at PACT OPEN DAY 2024

On November 12, at PACT – Alentejo Science and Technology Park, the talk “Intelligent Ecocenter: Simplified Circularity with the logistics, data and traceability circuit” will take place, promoted by the CircularTech consortium.
As part of PACT’s Open Day, the initiative aims to explore how technology and innovation can facilitate the implementation of circular systems, improve logistics, optimize the use of data and ensure the traceability of processes, in terms of waste management and circular economy.
The discussion panel will consist of 3 representatives of CircularTech co-promoters, namely Célia Esteves, Director of Digital Transformation Projects at Ecoambiente, Paulo Fernandes, IoT Solution Architect at ITGest Portugal, and Sérgio Esteves, Coordinator of Information Technologies at Maiambiente. The moment will be moderated by Hugo Valadas, Business Development Executive at PACT, an entity that is also a partner in the project.
The CircularTech consortium aims to create an industrial cluster for the development of innovative products and services that respond to the specific challenges of the transition to a Circular Economy, namely in the phase of closing material cycles, ensuring a more sustainable waste management, directing it to new productive applications.
