COVID-19: Continued Disinfectant Gel Deliveries

3 April 2020

On March 27th, PACT, together with its partners, University of Évora, Sharish Gin Distillery and Incopil SA, collected the first 3000 units of disinfectant gel to distribute, free of charge, to IPSS in the region.

The boxes of disinfectant gel were delivered to Cáritas de Évora; to the Nossa Senhora de Fátima de Évora Parish Center; to the University of Évora; to the Volunteer Firefighters of Moura, Beja, Portalegre, Reguengos de Monsaraz and Évora; to the APPACDM of Moura; to the Municipality of Évora and Reguengos de Monsaraz; to the Polytechnic of Beja and Portalegre; to the PSP of Évora; to ADRAL – Alentejo Regional Development Agency; to CCDR Alentejo; to NERE; to ASR Alentejo; ANJE; to the Diário do Sul; to the Arraiolos Nursing Home and to the Association for Development and Well-being (Day Center) of Nossa Senhora de Machede.

In this first phase, 70 boxes were delivered to those who need it most, each with 32 bottles of disinfectant gel.

But PACT knows that it is not enough, and it is in this continuity that more will be produced, another 5000 units in collaboration with ARSAlentejo for distribution in the IPSS in the region, namely hospitals, health centers, firefighters and other entities that need it.

This is the sense of mission and social duty with which PACT has worked daily and it is in this direction that it will continue to seek to respond to the difficulties of the region.

See below the photos of the deliveries.
