PACT AND DECSIS HAVE ALMOST 2 THOUSAND EUROS IN PRIZES FOR APPLICATION PROJECTS THAT INTERACT WITH CHATGPT

The 1st Chat Dive – Hackathon of Alentejo is coming, promoted by PACT with the support of Decsis.
On the 6th and 7th of December, between 08:00 am and 20:00 pm, the CHAT DIVE – HACKATHON will take place at our facilities, a 16-hour challenge, which will have Digital Health as its theme, in which participants are invited to develop an app (in mobile or web format) that interacts with Chat GPT.
What is required to participate?
Programming knowledge;
Be over 16 years old;
To be a creative, innovative person who works well in a team.
How will it happen?
Participants will be divided into groups of 2/3 people; The challenge will take place on two consecutive days, 8 hours each day; The groups will be accompanied by 3 mentors, over the two days; The three best apps will be awarded with vouchers of 1000, 600 and 300 euros, in the closing session; Participants must bring computers; The event includes coffee break and lunch. Technical requirements: API key, Chat GPT, Python, JS, Visual Studio Code.
Prizes (in technological vouchers):
– 1st place: 1000 euros;
– 2nd place: 600 euros;
– 3rd place: 300 euros.

– Carmen Garcia, nurse and researcher in the “ALICE” project, a partnership between DECSIS and the University of Évora, and author of the page “the imperfect mother”;
– Nuno Carriço, Solutions Architect in the area of Artificial Intelligence at DECSIS;
– Pedro Grilo, Software Engineer, in DECSIS.
