PACT and ecosystem show Alentejo’s technological potential at Feira de S. João

PACT was present at another edition of the Feira de S. João, in Évora, and exceeded all expectations with its geodesic dome, full of immersive experiences.
This year, with an exclusive space and with the active participation of companies in the ecosystem, the focus was to make known the technological potential of the Alentejo.
From July 20th to 29th, hundreds of visitors had the opportunity to explore the future, interacting with cutting-edge technological equipment such as a robotic dog, flight and F1 simulators, PS5 games and VR glasses.
The last 5 days of the Feira de S. João were themed, following the strategic areas of PACT, and marked with presentations by companies in the ecosystem and a project in which PACT participates.
- 25th, Aeronautics Day – Presentation of CEiiA;
- 26th, Digital Health Day – Presentation of DecTech, with emphasis on the ALICE4u app;
- 27th, Industry 4.0 Day – Two Impulse Presentation;
- On the 28th and 29th, Circular Economy Days – Presentation of the NGS – New Generation Storage project, and the company LuxOEnergy, co-promoter of the project, financed by the PRR and the European Next Generation EU funds.
In addition, on June 23rd, the PACT space at Feira de S. João was the stage for part of the meeting of the eGames Lab consortium, in which PACT participates, in which the advances of each co-promoter were discussed and the future of the creative gaming sector after the PRR was discussed.
Also on June 24th, the PACT space hosted another initiative: session 3 of xBoost. The event had RicFazeres as a special guest and consisted of the presentation of the projects of the various participants and the collection of feedback from the digital creator, who is one of the biggest references in gaming in Portugal. xBoost is an acceleration program for startups in the gaming area and is part of “Unlock: Unlock your game”, a set of initiatives promoted by PACT, within the scope of the eGames Lab project that is funded by the PRR and the European Next Generation EU funds.
