PACT has more than €6000 in prizes for the best ideas in the area of energy transition

PACT – Alentejo Science and Technology Park today opened applications for the Open Innovation Contest, an ideas contest aimed at secondary and higher education students in the city of Évora, which seeks the best technology-based ideas in the area of energy transition.
The competition is divided into two levels, taking into account its target audience. Level I is aimed at secondary school students and allows individual participation or teams of up to 3 elements, with prizes ranging from €500 to €1000 in technological equipment. Level II is aimed at Higher Education students and provides for individual or pair participation. There are four prizes of €1000 in technological equipment.
The deadline for applications has been extended, so interested students can apply HERE until December 31st, requiring only a brief description of the idea (up to 250 words), which must respond to the challenges already identified.

Energy management and storage solutions for grid flexibility
Integration of e-mobility into smart grid and Urban Planning
Citizen-oriented innovation in the co-creation of solutions for smart cities

Mentoring
To support students in developing the idea for the final pitch, which takes place on January 31, 2023, There will be several workshops and mentoring moments.
