PACT inaugurates AlentEdge Office for Business Support in Alentejo

The launch will highlight the importance of Intellectual Property and the promotion of regional collaboration
On May 8, at 9:30 am, the Alentejo Science and Technology Park (PACT) inaugurates the AlentEdge Office, which was born to provide business support services aimed at the PACT ecosystem, namely to entrepreneurs, researchers and other entities.
The first services provided by Gabiente AlentEdge, which will serve the entire Alentejo region, will be in terms of Intellectual Property (IP) and will be developed in collaboration with INVENTA.
The inauguration event, in addition to marking the official launch of the AlentEdge Office, highlights the importance of valuing knowledge through IP registration.
The latest developments in this area will also be discussed, as well as the challenges and opportunities for participants. The session will feature an exposition on the subject, followed by a debate moderated by Tiago Teotónio Pereira, executive member of the Board of Directors of the Managing Authority of the Alentejo Regional Operational Program.
With the creation of the AlentEdge Office, PACT aims to strengthen the culture of innovation and collaboration with which it has driven economic growth and regional prosperity. The AlentEdge Office is an initiative that arises from the commitment of PACT as the leader of the Regional Technology Transfer System (SRTT) and in partnership with CCDR-A, co-responsible for the operational coordination of the implementation of the Alentejo Regional Smart Specialization Strategy (PR Alentejo 2030).
The event, open to the community, is free, but requires prior registration until May 7, here.
