PACT meets with DRIVEN project partners for workshop and coordination meeting
9/12/2025
On December 3rd, PACT participated in the session “Open Innovation: the Great Straight with the Magician Jorge Luengo”, held at the Chamber of Commerce of Cáceres within the scope of the DRIVEN project – Open Innovation Driven Economy.
The initiative, promoted by the Cáceres Chamber of Commerce and FUNDECYT-PCTEX, brought together companies and entrepreneurs in a dynamic environment of sharing, collaboration and creativity, reinforcing the importance of open innovation in the business fabric of the EUROACE region.
The session was facilitated by Jorge Luengo, lecturer, presenter and illusionist with a recognized international career. An expert in the use of magic and psychology to convey messages of strong impact on motivation, creativity, innovation and leadership, Luengo provided a memorable experience to the participants. Throughout her speech, she highlighted ways to build bridges between individuals and entities, to work together to design creative solutions and to communicate ideas effectively to potential partners and funders. Recognized as a central figure in the promotion of events related to open innovation, Jorge Luengo demonstrated how perception and lateral thinking can be decisive tools in solving business challenges.
The day ended with another coordination meeting of the DRIVEN project, dedicated to reviewing results and preparing the next steps. Among them is the launch of the DRIVEN platform, which will soon provide relevant information and documentation on open innovation — including good practices, case studies and guides — as well as training modules and a space dedicated to sharing challenges and presenting solutions.
The DRIVEN project aims to promote the culture of open innovation in EUROACE companies, encouraging the sharing of knowledge, the growth of scientific-technological initiatives, the creation of strategic alliances and internationalization.
The initiative is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Interreg V-A Spain-Portugal Programme (POCTEP) 2021-2027.
