PACT MEETS WITH EWASTER CONSORTIUM IN MALAGA FOR 3RD VALIDATION WORKSHOP

PACT was in Malaga (Spain) on 18 and 19 February to take part in the 3rd Validation Workshop as part of eWAsTER, the project of which it is the leader.
The partners were hosted by the Municipal Solid Waste Consortium of Malaga (RSU Málaga).
Among the various activities, the meeting allowed networking between the host partner’s stakeholders who are directly involved in waste management; the presentation of local action plans in each partner’s region; the presentation and discussion of the Mediterranean Methodology for the Prevention and Management of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE); and the discussion of pilot tests to be developed by each of the partners during 2025.
This meeting made it possible to discuss the state of the project and align the next phases, which is essential for operationalising the work in favour of preserving the Mediterranean through the prevention, collection and recycling of electrical and electronic waste.
