PACT MEETS WITH UNICORN QUEST CONSORTIUM PARTNERS

On July 21, a session organized under the UnicornQuest project, led by PACT, took place at PACT. The meeting was attended by the project’s stakeholders, at a regional level, including: DECSIS, IEFP, TecParques, University of Évora, Office of the Secretary of State for the Economy, CCDR Alentejo, IAPMEI and ADRAL.
The main moments of the meeting were the presentation of the project, current status and next steps, and brainstorming on good practices in the region, namely in terms of policies/programs that have already borne fruit in terms of the creation/support of successful startups.
The objective of the project is to study the conditions of the different regions involved, regarding their ability to create, retain and attract startups with the potential to become unicorns, and to contribute to the improvement of these same conditions, through the improvement of relevant policies and initiatives in the different regions.
Unicorn Quest is co-funded by the European Union, under Interreg Europe.
