PACT Opens Competition for 5 Highly Qualified Human Resources

1 October 2020

The Alentejo Science and Technology Park will recruit 5 Highly Qualified Human Resources (RHAQ).

This investment aims to reinforce PACT’s strategy, which is based on the development and strengthening of the articulation between the institutions of the scientific and technological system and the business fabric. With the expansion of its facilities – Phase 2 – PACT has established four key areas for the promotion of R&D activities and for the creation, development and attraction of companies: Aerospace, Industry 4.0 and ICT, Circular Economy and Digital Health.

The Human Resources to be hired intend to sustain these pillars, in order to develop a continuous interaction between knowledge institutions and companies.

Aware of the importance of recruiting Highly Qualified Human Resources for the development of the region, the President of PACT, Professor Soumodip Sarkar, highlights the importance of PACT’s role as a leader of SRTT and states that “it is not only in Higher Education Institutions and research centers that there is knowledge… in companies too! It is, therefore, essential to strengthen the transfer of knowledge in both directions – from institutions to companies and also from these to institutions”.

This hiring stems from the application (approved by CCDR Alentejo) to the Highly Qualified Human Resources Hiring Program, through the European Social Fund, whose Term of Acceptance was signed yesterday, September 30th, at the PACT facilities.

Applications are available from today, October 1st, and the competition runs until October 22nd, 2020.
