5 December 2022
PACT – Alentejo Science and Technology Park, in partnership with Nov@bit and TE Connectivity, is promoting the 5th edition of the Robotics Bootcamp. An initiative aimed at secondary school students from schools in the Alentejo region.
From the 19th to the 21st of December, at the PACT facilities in Évora, young people will learn the principles of robotics and programming and enter the world of sensors, actuators and microprocessors.
Participation is free and the program includes, in addition to lunch and a certificate of participation, a visit to the TE Connectivity factory in Évora – one of the main employers in the city and region. Places are limited to 15 participants and registration is open until December 13 and can be made here.
“The future of the Alentejo is in the hands of young people and that is why it is important to bring them closer to the companies and areas that will mark the agenda in the coming years”, says Soumodip Sarkar, Executive President of PACT.
The Robotics Bootcamp is part of PACT’s social engagement strategy and aims to bring young people closer to the technological area, an area that the entity considers strategic for the development of the region.
