PACT ORGANIZES TRAINING ACTIONS IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Within the scope of the Startup LABWARE project, PACT and ADRAL organized, together with APOGEP – Portuguese Association of Project Management and in partnership with PM2 Alliance, 2 training actions in PM2 Essential Project Management.
PM² is a project management methodology developed and supported by the European Commission, created with the needs of the European Union Institutions and Projects in mind, but can be transferred to projects of any organization. It is a simple and easy-to-implement methodology that incorporates elements of a wide range of universally accepted project management best practices, which aims to enable project managers to provide solutions and benefits to their organizations, through effective work management, throughout the entire life cycle of a project.
This training, administered by Nicos Kourounakis, President of the PM² Alliance and Co-Author of the PM² methodology, and which had 29 participants, aimed to train entrepreneurs who are developing ideas and projects within the scope of Startup LABWARE, as well as project and project management technicians. These participants will now have the possibility to proceed to certification.
The Startup LABWARE project aims to support entrepreneurship initiatives of high technological intensity focused on the theme of smart cities that are developed from the Alentejo region and is co-financed by the European Union, within the scope of the support system for collective actions (SIAC) of the Alentejo 2020 Regional Operational Program.
