The meeting was attended by the entire consortium, recovered from the already completed CETEIs project – Cross-border Centers for the Support of Innovative Entrepreneurs (POCTEP 2014-2020), and consisting of Fundecyt PCTEX (lead beneficiary), the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industria y Servicios de Cáceres, PACT – Alentejo Science and Technology Park, IPN Incubator – Association for the Development of Ideas and Business Incubation Activities, the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Badajoz, ADRAL – Alentejo Regional Development Agency and TAGUSVALLEY – Science and Technology Park.
The DRIVEN project, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund ERDF through the Interreg V-A Spain-Portugal Programme (POCTEP) 2021-2027, aims to promote a culture of open innovation in the EUROACE Euroregion, which allows the exchange of knowledge and experiences, improving the results of companies throughout their cycle: R&D&i Management, acceleration of scientific and technology-based initiatives, strategic alliances and internationalization. It aims to contribute to the development of a Cross-Border Innovation Ecosystem, guided by challenges and managed in a distributed way in the territory, for a better orientation of resources and research and technological development capacity to the real needs and strategic challenges of the business fabric, especially SMEs.
This first meeting made it possible to align the work team, establish clear objectives, define roles and responsibilities, discuss deadlines and promote open communication to ensure an efficient and successful start of the project.
