PACT present at Web Summit Lisbon with eGames Lab

To represent eGames Lab, Soumodip Sarkar, Executive President of PACT, and João Assunção, Director of Operations and Board Consultant, joined the consortium partners at Web Summit Lisbon, the largest technology fair in the world.
In their own stand, the various co-promoters presented the project that is developing the national video game cluster and positioning Portugal in the world context.
PACT has developed several initiatives within the scope of the project, the most recent being the xBoost acceleration program that supported entrepreneurs in the creative industries.
The eGames Lab aims to diversify the national economic fabric, increasing Portugal’s competitiveness in the IT and Web 3.0 industries, and foresees that the city of Évora will play a key role in the field of immersive technologies – a purpose PACT has been committed to.
The eGames Lab is funded by the RRP and the European Next Generation EU funds.
