The presence of companies from the ecosystem and immersive experiences with cutting-edge technology showcase Alentejo’s technological potential

PACT – Alentejo Science and Technology Park returns to the São João Fair in Évora with a stronger presence and plenty of new features. This year, one of the main attractions is its exclusive space: a dome 12 metres in diameter and 6 metres high, located next to the institutional tent.

This new environment is designed to surprise visitors with immersive experiences and state-of-the-art technology, such as a robotic dog, flight and Formula 1 simulators, virtual reality glasses and other innovative equipment. ‘After such positive feedback from the previous year, we wanted to innovate even more and create a space that stands out, with memorable immersive experiences where you can explore the future,’ says PACT’s CEO.

Another factor that makes this edition different is the active presence of the companies that make up the PACT ecosystem. They will be presenting and demonstrating their products and technological solutions, reinforcing PACT’s role as an engine of innovation in the region, working to strengthen research and technological development.‘Our participation in the São João Fair is guided by two of our strategic areas: Industry 4.0 and the Circular Economy, with special emphasis on the work we’ve been doing with the eGames Lab and NGS – New Generation Storage projects, in each area respectively, which are supported by the PRR – Recovery and Resilience Plan and the Next Generation EU European Funds,’ explains Soumodip Sarkar.

The PACT space will be open to the public every day between 20th and 29th June, from 6pm, in Évora’s Rossio de São Brás. The PACT team will be on site to help visitors use the equipment and guarantee an enriching experience.
