Certification as a training entity by DGERT is part of the new specialized service of the AlentEdge Office
At the beginning of September, PACT- Alentejo Science and Technology Park saw its application for certification as a training entity by DGERT approved. The certification covers 3 areas of education and training: Marketing and Advertising, Management and Administration, and Computer Sciences, and it is expected that new areas will be added in the future.
With a strong history in terms of training activities, some integrated in community projects, PACT thus consolidates its contribution to the region’s capacity building and consequently increases its competitiveness, through the offer of a set of certified training, one of the aspects of the AlentEdge Office.
“We believe that training is one of the pillars of innovation and competitiveness and this specialized service that the Office will offer is another step towards continuing to make the regional business ecosystem stronger and more dynamic”, says Soumodip Sarkar, Executive President of PACT.
In addition to the DGERT certification, the PACT training actions stand out for their personalization and proximity, since the courses will be tailored to the specific needs of the Alentejo business fabric. This service will also rely on specialized expertise from trainers and the use of modern methodologies.
The services are aimed at: entrepreneurs, managers and senior staff; professionals who, by virtue of their functions, wish to acquire and/or strengthen their skills; and also higher education students, applying an exclusive discount of 10% to the PACT ecosystem and 15% to students of higher education institutions (HEIs) partner of PACT.
The AlentEdge Office was inaugurated in May and is part of the SRTT strategy, of which PACT is the leader, by boosting economic development in the region through the provision of specialized services, currently offering services in the areas of Intellectual Property and Training.
