PACT receives presentation of the Empowered Startups Program and Minister of Territorial Cohesion

It was with great pride that, on February 8th, PACT received the official presentation of the Empowered Startups HQA (High Qualified Activity) Program and the signing of the Letter of Commitment, which was attended by Ana Abrunhosa, Minister of Territorial Cohesion.
The opening session included speeches by Hermínia Vasconcelos Vilar, Rector of the University of Évora, Isabel Ferreira, Secretary of State for Regional Development, and Chris Lennon, President & General Counsel of Empowered Startups.
The event was also attended by João Rodrigues, Vice-Rector of the University of Algarve UAlg, and Paulo Quaresma, Vice-Rector of the University of Évora, given the involvement of these higher education institutions as partners of the HQA program.
There was also space for the testimonies of three entrepreneurs participating in the program:
Artem Galimov, from Ukraine, CEO & CO-Founder of Keyword Tool.
Youssef Akila, from Canada, Head of Design – Azizi Developments.
Wenjie Jiang from China, Founder and Chairman of WJ Apparel Group. At the end, the participants enjoyed a cocktail and networking moment.
