PACT rewards young participants in Christmas Matchmaking

Today, February 12th, the Christmas Matchmaking awards and diplomas were awarded, an initiative that aimed to help commercial establishments in the region during the Christmas season.
The online event, broadcast live on PACT’s Facebook page, was developed with the purpose of thanking the dedication and commitment shown by all the young people who participated in this initiative and was attended by the President of PACT, Professor Soumodip Sarkar, and the Mayor of Évora, Carlos Pinto de Sá.
The opening of the event was made by Professor Soumodip Sarkar, who once again praised the commitment of the volunteers, highlighting that “the young people gave much more than what was asked of them”. This was followed by the intervention of the Mayor of Évora, Carlos Pinto de Sá, who reinforced “the commitment, creativity and solidarity” shown by all these young people.
During the event, several testimonies of gratitude from the merchants were also presented.
In total, and in collaboration with several partners who also wanted to be associated with this recognition, PACT delivered about 30 awards and diplomas.
PACT thanks all the young people, merchants and partners involved in this initiative.
