The linear economic model use, make, throw away is in crisis and the planet has long shown signs that we are reaching the limit of its physical capacity. Reducing waste creation, restricting the extraction of raw materials and investing in sustainable production models will not only reduce environmental impact, but also help achieve more sustainable and resilient business models.
The LOCALCIR project, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), through the INTERREG VA ESPAÑA PORTUGAL (POCTEP) 2014-2020 program, believes that the future involves the conversion of the business fabric into sustainable models with reduced environmental impact.
