STARTUPS AND INVESTORS GATHERED AT STARTUP PORTUGAL’S PACT PARA SIM CIRCUIT

The SIM Circuit, which took place on February 8 at PACT and was organized by Startup Portugal, was a success!
The opening session was moderated by Pedro Talaia, member of the Startup Portugal team, and was attended by João Moreira Pires, Incubators & Accelerators’ Booster at Startup Portugal, and Hugo Valadas, Business Development Executive at PACT, who presented how the entity has been supporting the growth and development of startups in Alentejo, as an active part of the National Network of Incubators of Startup Portugal.
After a presentation by Renato Azevedo, Investments & Subsidies Analyst at Startup Portugal, on the national and district of Évora results, in terms of vouchers for startups and vouchers for incubators and accelerators, a pitch session followed, led by Yoram Schaffer, founder of Movies Everywhere, a company incubated virtually at PACT, who had the opportunity to present his projects to local investors and receive some feedback.
Before the closing, held by António Dias Martins, CEO of Startup Portugal, António Lemos Salta, Equity Manager of Banco Portuguese de Fomento, and Rafael Rodrigues, Head of the Economic Development Division of the Municipality of Évora, addressed a few words.
The event provided moments of learning, networking and inspiration for all participants, who at the end enjoyed a networking cocktail.
